How to Register

• Book your space online via our website.

• When booking, select your preferred market location.

• Each participant will be allocated ½ trestle table space. If you require more room, please let us know during registration.

 

What to Build & Bring

• Any LEGO display is welcome!

• Your display must include your own uniqueness – not just a standard set built from instructions. Add your creativity, imagination, or custom twist to make it yours.

• Displays will share half a trestle table area of. Size of a full trestle table is 1.8m(L)x 75cm(w) - your space allowance is 70cm(L)x60cm(W) - this leave enough spacious room around the display. 

• No height restrictions on builds, however please stay within a width of 60cm to allow the build to sit safely on a 75cm wide trestle table and MUST be built without the need for additional aides. 

• Displays should be stable enough to be transported and set up safely at the market.

• Entries must be built ahead of time.  

• One entry per person, though an entry may consist of several pieces in a setting or one single piece.

 

Showcase Guidelines

• Kids in Business Market is from 10am to 12pm. 

• Arrive at 9:30am to set up your display before the market begins.

• Each display will be showcased to the public throughout the 2hr event.

• Please remain with or nearby your display so you can share your creation with visitors.

• Respect other participants’ displays and space.

• Please note: Kids in Business takes no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage of LEGO displays or personal property during the market. All displays remain the responsibility of the participant and their parent/caregiver.

 

Prizes

​Entries will be judged on the following criteria:

• General appearance and design

• Creativity

• Degree of difficulty

The Awards will be announced at 11:45pm you will then be able to take home your LEGO creations.  

 

Important Notes

• All displays must be the work of the participant.

• Kids of all ages are welcome to enter.

• By entering, you agree to your build/child's build being photographed and used for future marketing on our website, promotional and social media sites.

• Parents/caregivers are responsible for supervision during the event.
